🌱 How to Grow NuMex Twilight
Colour intensity is directly proportional to sun exposure. Indoor plants show less vibrant colouring — supplement with a grow lamp for best results.
Thrives between 20–28°C. A compact variety that tolerates indoor conditions well, but needs warmth for strong fruit production.
Water moderately and allow slight drying between waterings. The compact root system doesn't tolerate sitting in wet soil.

Apply a light tomato fertiliser from first fruit set. A light feeder — avoid over-fertilising with nitrogen which encourages foliage over fruit.

Cause: Normal in early season — the rainbow effect develops as different fruits reach different ripening stages at the same time.
Fix: Be patient — as the plant matures and more fruits develop, the multi-colour display appears naturally.
Cause: Anthocyanin pigment (responsible for the purple stage) needs UV light to express fully.
Fix: Supplement with a full-spectrum grow lamp positioned 30–40cm above the plant for 14–16 hours per day.
Cause: Temperatures below 18°C cause flowers to abort before setting fruit.
Fix: Keep the plant above 18°C at all times. Indoors, avoid cold windowsills in winter — move to a warmer spot.
Cause: A root-bound plant stops growing and fruiting as roots exhaust the available soil volume.
