Mint Spreading Uncontrollably

Mint rapidly expands well beyond its original planting area via underground runners, popping up in unexpected parts of the garden and potentially crowding out neighbouring plants.

- 2Planting directly in open garden soil without any physical barrier

Solution Steps
- 1Dig up unwanted runners and roots as soon as they're spotted spreading beyond the intended area.
- 2Install a physical barrier � a bottomless pot, buried edging, or root barrier fabric � around the planting area to contain future spread.
- 3Consider moving mint entirely into a container if in-ground spreading has become unmanageable.
