Fusarium Wilt on Passion Fruit Vines
Commonly affects: Passiflora edulis (Passion Fruit)
The vine wilts progressively from the tips inward, with leaves yellowing and dropping even though soil moisture seems adequate. Cutting the stem reveals brown vascular streaking.
Potential Causes
- 1Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. passiflorae fungus living in soil and entering through roots
- 2Poor drainage keeping roots stressed and more susceptible
