Soft Brown Scale & Honeydew

Unlike armoured scale, soft scale excretes abundant sticky honeydew, leaving leaves glossy and tacky and frequently coated in black sooty mould. Affected plants show gradual yellowing, leaf drop, and reduced vigour.
